A catch up from La La Land...

I've been lazy with the blogging world, but in truth, my life hasn't been Lazy.

Here's a long blog on what I did. Don't read this if you don't have time.


December 25th - Xmas Day. Got loads of clothes, I think i established that.

December 26th - Marychristine and Shandi Kaye came over. They'll be in this story for a week now, because they stayed over at my place for a week. My mom and i hopped into the car 'round noon, went up to Saginaw-ish-area, and then went to frankenmuth with the chickas.


Look we have a tour bus!

We finally arrive back at my houes 'round like seven? I think.. My parents and I give them our BIG SUPRISE!

Giant x-mas present, we're going to the recording studio friday. Hip-Hip-HOORAY!
we pratice, till late.

December 27th - We wake up, early, 'round 8 am? It's all a blur of light and color now, We take showers, get dressed and get ready, concert today. We arrive at the venue at 10 or 11 in the morning. We tune my guitar, hook up mary's keyboard, and start playing. People continue to arrive, we continue to play. [Video later, It's not on youtube yet...] We play Please Be Mine, our favorite cover. Get a standing ovation, sit down, eat lunch, listen to the speaker. We exchange business cards with adults, etc, we go to the bathroom and take pictures.

it's like 2 pm now.

we pratice for recording studio?... i think we went to the mall after that. :O
It's all a blur now.

December 28th - WE WAKE UP EARLY. i make my hair cool ;) We head to the recording studio around... nine? in the morning. We arrive in Royal Oak at SoundScape Studios.
We put up Jonas posters for inspiration ;)





We pick the order of the songs.
- So Real.
- Game Called Love.
- Please Be Mine, Jonas Brothers Cover.




We fix the mics and do sound check.

We record So Real, It takes a few tries, but It's our first time in a studio, and not my shower for recording, so it's all good. We finish that song before the clock strikes 12. We keep playing to Game Called Love. My fingers start spazzing cause they aren't used to playing so much. I pretty much have to hold back from screaming in pain cause Game Called Love has a 'unique' guitar part that I wrote. We have everything perfect then my finger messes up on one of the last notes of the bridge. I pull through, and darn it, that was our best recording of it, and it will be on the myspace later.


We take a moment to regain composer.



We head back into the studio. My legs feel like jello so I decide I'm sitting for the next song and I don't care what anyone says.



Mary wanted to loop her keyboarding track, so we try that a few times. It doesn't work at first so we decide Mary will do that after we have Please Be Mine, guitar and vocals recorded. We play through only a couple times cause I know that one the most. Mary starts struggling with her vocals from singing all day.



We get a pretty good recording, and Shandi and I are allowed to head over to micky d's for late 2 pm-ish lunch. Mary works for another whatever minutes trying to get the keyboard, finally gives up and comes over to mcdonald's.
