Screaming and shouting out your name..

So, on saturday I went to the benifit concert at St. Andrews...
my friend Brie was there, so we hung out for a few hours... and we got bored, so we left :p hahah. the concert started like a minute before my dad got there, so oh well. we went back to my place, and talked about some stuff, then went on the computer, and around nine PM decided we'd go to the concert at the factory. coool, so we got there, and So Let Go! ( i know, i go to all their shows, get over it.) was there already, me and Brie chatted a little with the guys River, Austin, Paul, and Matt brought some equiment in to the venue. oooh, and Hillary was there, so we talked to her too :) then, after the doors being open for like, five minutes and us being completely unaware, we decided to go in... I've been to the Factory before, for Push Play, but tonight it was even more crowded, and there were way more guys at the show then girls. On the agenda for the night was Seven Story Fall, So Let Go!, Halfway to Winter, and some other bands, that I don't remember... haha. Seven Story Fall started around 10 -ish, they were prettyyy good. I had listened to 'em before so it was sorta ironic seeing them in concert now, without knowing they were playing beforehand. after they were done, Brie, Hillary, Lane, Autumn, and a few others of us talked while SLG loaded in their stuff. fun fun fun. sooooooo around 10:45 ish so let go started... and Brie had to be home by 11 ish, so it was getting close. They played their usual set. The Breakdown, Timmy's Arcade Wonderland, Under City Lights, Jenny, Spaceships and Airplanes. :] it was defffff their best show yet. they did incredible, it was so much fun.

(JENNY!)

you can see me. haha.
when they were done me and brie congrated them on an amazing show, gave hugs, and stuff. :) thennnnnn, Halfway to winter went on, buttt me and brie could only stay for the first song :[. they did realllyyy good on that one song though ;D

all in all it was a lot of funnnnnnnnn! <3

so, GO TO MY CONCERT ON THE 19TH!!!!!!! ;)

J-J-J-J-JENNY!

This weekend I went to two concerts. ha, that's a usual these days.
The first one was friday, black friday! yes, as most people go shopping on black friday, I go to concerts..... haha, I'm normal. ;)
so me and alix get to static age like 4 minutes before they open the doors. and no ones was there. so we wait four minutes, and like 20 people show up... It was random. ha, so we get in, and the dude wouldn't let alix in at first cause she had a 20 and he didnt have change. hahaha. so i was first in the venue ;) sorry, im lame like that. uhm, so yea, me and alix just chilled for like 30ish minutes, then the first people started setting up. Kodiak Era. I had sorta listened to them before, I mean, they dont have anything recorded, but they have a few youtube videos on their page, so I heard those... but alix and I really came for our guys, So Let Go! ;). So, we saw Matt, and said hi, and he's random and randomly talked to us a few times... ha, and Kodiak Era started. They were pretty good. River came over, and I bought two tickets from him for the Sunday show, for my friend who wanted me to buy her tickets... Alix wanted to sit down, so we went to the stools. And we said hi's to Austin, Natalie, Reece, and Paul. yea. I still wanted to listen to Kodiak Era, they were good. haha. uhm, so for their last song we went back up. they were good. k, so then, I thought So Let Go! was going.. but then Quiet Coyote went. so then we listened to them. They were acoustic, and quiter, and sorta hard to hear, but they were alright. after them was So Let Go!. hahah, they something was wrong, and it took 'em like 45 minutes to set up, which was long.... hah. then they started. It was pretty good. They played their four songs. I recorded Spaceships and Airplanes, but it's on alix's camera.... i'll get it on youtube eventually, along with like 40 other videos we've taken at concerts. ;) mmmm. so after they played they left, and me and alix hung around somemore. we listened to the next band play, i dont exact remember their name... but they were decent. we got kinda bored and went across the street to the gas station. I was getting pretty flat, so i bought a vitamin water. it didnt help all that much. we went back inside the venue, and i was like extremely low on the blood sugar. :p then i called my mom to pick us up. we went outside, and there was this dude eating pizza. and i was like, "oh dude, you can't do that to me." and he was like "ohh, you want it?" and i was like "ah, i do, but it's yours." and he's like, "i think i can spare one piece." soooo i got pizza. that made me better. we started talking, and it happened to be Andrew from Kodiak Era. He was really cool. he was with his manger or something. and we just chatted. he remembered accepting me on myspace... weird. haha. and some other stuff, like how i'm a musician too, and about smoking and how it's bad for you, hahahaha. and then this other band member came over and gave me a sticker. yea. it was cool. then my mom showed up, and we got home at like. 11:52. :p

thennnnnn sunday.
ohkay, so after church shayna texts me and says becca cant go anymore, and i had already boughten their tickets, plus alix and mine. so i was starting to freak out cause i needed to get rid of it. so i told her to ask everyone she knew. no one wanted to go, so i asked my friend Ryan. he really wanted to go, he just had to ask him mom first, so i was consent with that. then shayna said that her mom didnt feel like driving out to Pontiac, because it started snowing pretty hardcore, and she didnt want to drive in that weather. and ryan texted me saying he couldn't get ahold of his mom, and if she didnt call back, he wouldnt be able to go. so i defff started to freak out and stress out. then ryans mom called him back and said he could go. thank you god. and so i asked shayna if maybe my dad could give her a ride, if she could get a ride to my house.. and her mom agreed. thank you jesus. alix came over at about... ehh 5? we just kinda hung out for a little took a bunch of random photos, that were deleted, hahah. justt had some fun. then my mom and dad came home from the store, and my dad came with a bunch of promos for my three concerts coming up at the Coffee Café, and gave alix a stack of 25, and told her to pass 'em out to everyone at the concert. funnn.... haha. we ate dinner, then shayna got dropped off and we headed out. soooo, we got to the venue at like 5:56... haha. we went in the air lock cause it was snowing, and NO ONE was outside the venue... and like we went into the concert area. and we saw bands sitting on the couches on either side. then Matt came over and talked to Alix, Shayna, and me. we said stuff, like about the show, about concerts in general, and then alix, the promoter, took out one of the cards of me and gave it to matt, so we started talking about me, awkward. he's gunna go to some shows maybe? i dunno... uhm, yea, then we.. went to the bathroom. then we went back upstairs. and decided we were gunna go outside? i dunno why. we walked like, a block. then we walked back to the venue. again, i dont remember why we did this, i dont honestly think we had a reason. so yea we went back into the air lock. people were finally there. two girls, who were big goot fans, cause they had a goot poster. :) mmm, yea. then we saw mandy and natalie and started talking to 'em. and then River came over to talk to us. and Alix, gave 'em all cards, so they're maybe coming to some shows too. coolness. :] and more people showed up. and we got let in at like 6:04? or something to that effect. yea. and ryan was still not there yet... ha. so let go did some soundcheckin. fun... we went to the right side of the room and met Goot! we talked about some stuff, and took pictures. then we saw Olivia so we started talking to her and hanging out and stuff. then Ryan FINALLLYYY showed up. and i gave him the other ticket. then so let go started around lke, 6:30 or so. they did they're amazing songs that i love so much and me and alix and ryan jokingly screamed like teenies. fun stuff. shayna and olivia are more layed back. ;) mmmhmmm. so when they were done, we left the front-ish area and just kinda chilled in the backish place. uhm, so then... i dont remeber. we did stuff. :] haha. uhm, ryan, alix, austin, matt, paul, josh, and me took 2 pictures. fun fun fun! :) thennnnn this other band played. i dont remember their name. haha, me and ryan had fun mosh pitting and head banging and screaming/screamoing like teenies. fun fun stuff. after they went on, goot was up next. i love goot, he's really good, and i've been a fan of him for like a year now, so it was cool to finally get to see him play. he did really good. he played my favorite song by him, Asleep at the Wheel, which i recorded on alix's camera. yea, it'll be up, wayyy later, sometime on youtube. ha. uhm. when he was done we went over and chatted with him about some stuff again. yay. then after him was Swimming With Dolphins. ah, love. <3 Adam Young/Owl City wasn't present, because he got signed? that's what i've been told... so Austin kept the show going and played solo. he was really good. i videoed taped two songs. i'm pretty sure during silohettues (i just murdered the spelling) i had like ADD and Ryan wouldn't stop playing around so i video taped Alix, Shayna, Olivia, me, Ryan, and probably Matt and Paul too cause they were standing next to me... :p haha. uh yea. after he was done we went over to his merch table, and i got the Swimming With Dolphins CD, which he signed, and then we took pictures. :) fun fun stuff. mmmhmmm, so then alix called her dad to give us a ride back home. it was only like, 8... pretty early. uhm, so then we watched like half of i think they're called Throwing Paper Airplanes set. they were alright, but like, everyone had left. ha, i felt bad, there was a band AFTER them playing. so then we said our goodbyes to Austin from SWD and left. yea, it was a great shows!. :]

whooo this weekend it's me on friday and joey page/a cursive memory/savvy&mandy saturday! :D

peace.

Do you have what it takes to turn back time?

today was an incredible day. I went to 37 Studios, to record the first song off my EP, "Turn Back Time" my dad and I arrived at around 12:30 noon. Aaron and Gaby were already there, so we got right to work. While Aaron set up the mics and I tuned, me, Aaron and my dad talked about some stuff and we talked to Gaby a bit too. Then we got straight down to busy. I tracked all the guitar in about 4 or 5 takes. Aaron was impressed by how quickly I was able to use the metronome. Honestly, so was I. the first time I used one was Tuesday (yesterday), and then today I was in the studio. ha. When he polished some mistaked, we set up to record vocals. After a dry run, I noticed I missed a section on guitar, so we fixed that up. At this point, my dad left to go finish up some errands (no not aarons;)). Then we started on vocals. I recorded most of the vocals in 1 or 2 takes per section (verse 1, chorus, verse 2, chorus, bridge, chorusx2). afterwards, I went into the soundbooth. Aaron played around with some mixing, and while we chatted. He's going to make me a few different verisons and he's going to just play with it and have some fun. He's adding some drums, and some backup vocals and some other fun stuff. My dad arrived back after a little with tidings of Starbucks for Aaron, Gaby, and me. Then we just talked for a while. Aaron said how much he liked my sound and we talked about What happened in vegas for a little. Afterwards we set up plans for recording again (probably the fourteen of december.)

All in all it was extremely cool and productive day.
a few extra deets.

I'm recording a 4-5 song EP titled "Lyrics In A Notebook."

the first four I already have written, the fifth Aaron and I will be writing and recording together.

The EP should drop Winter 2009. Preferably, Febuary. I'll let you know when I know more specificly.

I'm singing and playing guitar on the EP.

Aaron is my producer, backup vocalist (on the EP).

I record each song for $150.

** don't ask me to help "hook you up" it's not hard to find you're own way with a good support team. **

kay sweet! (:

STAY TUNNED FOR MY EP!

ps. if you aren't friends with it yet, request my music!

This is real, This is me.

So much has happened in a matter of... days.

Friday was a huge milestone in my life, but not really. I mean, I've performed for people before, I've played in public before, I've done it before, but Friday was the first time I've done it in a while. Jet back to eighth grade talent show. That was probably the first time I REALLY showed anyone I had talent. Last year, I was in a few bands. Nothing to big, some of 'em had a few shows here and there, but it wasn't a big thing. But it did help me. Without those bands, I wouldn't be half the musician I am today. I wouldn't have worked so hard to get to where I am today. I never had seen me, having a chance, until then. Now after my 'first' come back show, I see I can REALLY do it! I have some shows in December coming up, more are getting planned and are in the works. I have some planned for January, and my BIG show the last day of February, which I'm excited as hell for!

and then Sunday, which is.. today. This morning I had church, and I happen to be in the church choir, which by the way, it full of children who aren't the best and really sort of bug me. Then afterwards I met with another Musician, most of whom you all know as Aaron Vegas, and I auditioned for him to record at his studio. He seemed to really enjoy my sound and was eager to start our project, my EP CD "Lyrics In A Notebook" (should be out sometime Winter 2009.) We're heading to work on the first song, tentatively titled "Turn back Time." on Wednesday. It's going to be a lot of hard work, but also some fun. I mean, I've wanted to do this since I was practically born. Aaron gave me the homework assignment of buying a metronome, so mom, dad, lee lee, and myself headed over to Guitar Center in Southfield and purchased one (you happy Aaron? ;)). While there, they have this room of totally acoustic guitars. If you knew me, you'd know I'm a HUGEEE guitar fanatic, so of course I went inside, but you'd also know I'm a lefty, so what are they chances they'd actually have an acoustic left handed? Well, my mom just happened to also be in there, and she had been talking to one of the people that worked there, she had already found my sister the Banjo, yes BANJO, she's always wanted, and I mean, always. She's wanted to play for... two years now? someone buy her one and shut her up. But she was also talking to the dude about me. And the fact that I really need and Acoustic with an Electric pick up, that's left handed, and NO ONE seems to have one. Now if you've ever been to Guitar Center, they have roughly 900 guitars in their store. Of those 900, they have a little under 12 left handed. And of those, 2 acoustics with an electric pick up.

Well, I know what my BIG Christmas present is now. It's a previously owned one, but I'm not one to care much about that kinda stuff. As long as it sounds good and is left handed I'll play it. Heck, as long as it sounds good, I'll play it, left strung or right... I'm not the best right though.

All in all though, this weekend has been mildly insane. It's been a real eye opener. I mean, I can seriously do what I want, and I have a foundation of people behind me who will support me. At my concert on Friday, there was about 45 people. It's not a real big venue either. I mean, it's a coffee shop. But, before I performed there, on any other Friday night they had around 8 to 12 people. I don't know about you, but I see a drastic increase. And If I can get that into a small area, that the people who attended probably 90 percent of the people there had never heard of the venue, imagine with me what I could do with a place that people are more familiar with. Possibilities are honestly, just endless.

My dad says, "You're not going to have this great of a weekend in a while." I saw heck with that. The next time I perform, which is schuduled to be December 5th, I'm giving it my all. I made this weekend amazing. But I can make any weekend I set my mind to amazing as well.

This blog is not meant to "brag" or boast about my life or make me seem like "oh my gosh, Laura Jean's SOOOO LUCKY." because really, I don't think I am. I honestly can't STAND it when people say that to me. It's probably the most hated thing I've ever heard. I mean, really. If you wanted anything in this blog you could have it. A concert. You need people. a venue. and talent. and probably a P.A. System and an instrument. Recording studio. Ohkay, well you need a recording studio. and someone willing to work with you. oh and talent. that's a biggie.

What I'm trying to say is. If your dream is singing, GREAT! get out there and do it. Your hairbrush won't tell everyone how amazing you are. You can. Your friends can. Your family can. You fans can. So go out there and make something of yourself too. If your dream isn't singing, then obviously, you don't need to go make a concert happen. But see, my dad just got fired from his job last Friday. He told most of his friends and the response has been overall the same. "great! now you can do what you're SUPPOSE to be doing. You're a promoter." which is why I'm blessed to have a dad like him. He can support me in my needs. And I can return the help to him back.

K, I'm cleared out more. I have a room in my head to be able to focus more. I have so much homework I have to get caught up or all of this will be cut off as fast as you can say "WHAT?" I have school in the morning. I have to wake up and continue with life. But there's an extra special shimmer in my eyes now. I see a goal. I see it being reached. My dad has this "famous" quote of his in our house...

"Persistence is the only way the world knows I am serious about my goals."

Music In My Soul.

Sometimes... I really don't understand why I do the things I do. For example, music. I used to be completely obsessed with this ONE band, for almost 2 years. They were my absolute everything. The entire time though, I was really embaressed of being such a big fan. I mean, I met them, many times, and went to concerts, spent money, everything a real fan should do, but yet I still wasn't happy. I also had the worst depression the past two years. I half feel it was partly from that band. Stupid, yes. But the past few months I've learned to open my ears, and open my heart to an enormous amount of totally different music than I've ever listened to before. And I find I enjoy it more than I did before. I've always listened to music 24/7. But two years ago, it would be the same band that I listen to, to those 24 hours a day. Theses days my musical interests stretch all across the board. And I'm a hell of a lot less picky. I won't judge a band by their name, or by what they 'describe' their sound as. I'll listen to it myself and form my own opinion of it. I like the fact that I do that, because instead of basing what people think about them, I have my own ideas of how it is. I've also seen a drastic change in my concert attending history. In the last year alone I've been to well over 40 concerts, seeing more than 60 acts perform, and still there's more to come in the end of November and December, as well as I already plan on attending some in January and February. Another thing I don't understand why I do. I put up barriers. I second guess myself all the time. I'm always thinking "oh god, they're talking about me." when they totally aren't. It's pretty bad sometimes. I spent all of last year hiding myself. I spent most of my days in my room or hiding on the computer, not spending time with real people, but with "online" friends. When I could have been making real friends, I hid. It was a stupid move, that honestly these days I regret. Because of that I missed a hell of a lot of opportunities. I totally gave up because of 'The Move' that honestly, I look at it and I only live 30 minutes away from where I used to. I stopped trying in school. I stopped trying in making friends. I stopped trying in life. I was sort of on the sucidal side, and I didn't know how to get help. I had no one to go to. I had no friends to talk to that could completely understand me, except my "online" friends. Then this summer I made a few mistakes and pissed off a dozen or so of them, and I learned that I ultimately couldn't trust them either. This year, I'm stating right now I'm making the change. I'm changing my attitude before I get any worse. I'm opening up. I don't want to be known as the kid in the corner. I want people to see me, and see the LAURA JEAN I want to be. This year, I'm working on my own musical career. I'm going to be having concerts throughout the year and start recording a demo CD. I pray that even if we're not amazingly close friends, you'll give my music a chance. I've been a musician since 8th grade. But I've never really had the full confidence to do much than talent shows, and smaller shows here are there. This year, I'm stepping out of the box I've sheltered myself into. I'm breaking out. If you don't like me, that's totally fine. If you do, then that's great, please show your support in me. I hope people learn from my mistake and give anything and everything they come across the chance. They may just be a few steps short from a shooting star... <3

You are the one the one that lies close to me, whispers hello I miss you quite terribly...

SOOOOO yesterday, Alix and I went to the Hellogoodbye, Ace Enders, Play Radio Play!, Nevershoutnever! concert. it's a dandy story if you'd like to hear about it, continue reading...

so, on tuesday, I told my mom she needed to buy the tickets, and I had the window open, but I guess someone went on the computer between me and her, cause she never did, so on Thursday we went to ticketmaster to get tickets, and it was sold out. so my mom called the venue and asked if it was really sold out and they said they might add more rows, call back on friday morning. so she did and they said that if you get their early they MIGHT have some. and then we called right before we were going to leave to pick up Alix and they said they would NOT have any at the door. I called up Alix and told her there were NONE, and we wouldn't get it, but she had faith and confidence and finally convinced me to go. We get down there around 4:45PM/5PM - ish, and there's about 22 people in line in front of us. We ask them if they have tickets and for the most part, none of them did. We went inside the Magic Stick to ask if they were selling tickets and they said they only had a few left, first come first serve basis... So we went back in line. Alix, smart oh smart Alix, wore her moccasins to the concert, in the snowy/rainy weather and didn't wear socks so she pretty much almost got frostbite. She went inside a dozen or so times, and I kinda just stayed in line. Then this car showed up and people were like 'WHO IS THAT?!?!?!" and i was like, "oh, it's nevershoutnever!" totally joking of course, and then low and behold it really was christofer drew's car, and he walked past us, like 3 times... haha i said hi to him.. :p then i got really cold, so i went inside for a little bit, and just so happens to be Forest, the lead singer of Hellogoodbye standing there buying some pizza. ha, random. I talked to him for a little, then I talked to these two other people, with Alix. we got talking and then said "this is a stupid question but, are you in hellogoodbye?" and one of them said, "I'm not, but Ryan is." and I was like, "ohh, I like, love your music, but I never look at pictures of you guys." and he's like "oh, well that's a good thing, then you like us for the music, not for our looks." and i'm like "exactly." then he asked us if we had tickets, and me and alix are like, "no, we were gunna buy them at the door, but he says only like the first few people in line are getting 'em" and so Ryan was like, oh I can get you on the guest list, just write down your names on some paper. sooo, I just so happened to have one last promo card about myself in my pocket, and alix asked 'em if we could bring in two friends and they're like, just write your names plus 1, so i wrote "Laura Jean + 1 Alix H(her last name.) +1" And they read my promo card and were like, "aww to bad we won't be here for it." haha it was funny. and we called our friend, whom still said he wasn't going after that, so we took these two people my mom had been talking to for like three hours in line named Billy and Vericonia. sooo, we got our hands "x"ed and then we were told to go into the line that doesn't have tickets, and I was like, we're on the guest list, so this person had my card, and she's like ohkay, do you have ID and i'm like, uhh, flip it around, it's a promo card about me. and so we went in for free (yay guest lists. ;)). and we went right up to the stage. and Alix went straight to the merch line. so, I sat down on the stage, cause i was tired of standing in line forever, and i talked to this girl next to me and she was like, yea, it's my birthday today, and i was like, awww! i'll get nevershoutnever! to sing happy birthday to you. anddd, then these people said to me, "hey don't you know what happened in vegas?" and i was like, "yea" and they're like "ohhh they're right over there.." so i got up and i saw a hoodie that said "do you think your orginal" on the back, and i was like, "aaron?" and he turned around and was like "Laura!" and gave me a hug and he brought me over to Nick, Steve, and Dylan, and was like "Everytimee!!" and i gave them all hugs and we chatted for a bit and Aaron gave me a what happened in vegas card, so i gave him one of my promo cards, and he was like, "darn! it's the same day as the all time low, the maine concert, otherwise i'd be there, i'm gunna keep this though." and i told him about my big show in february coming up and he's like, maybe i'll go to that one. then i went back to my 'seat' on the stage. and alix came back and finally the concert started with nevershoutnever! he was amazing, i sat on the stage his entire set, haha it was pretty fun. ;) he did amazing, after his first song, i did get him to sing happy birthday, cause im just that good. <3. and he told some stories and stuff, he was just adorable. he did amazing too. he's the biggest hippie i know, i swear. when he was done alix wanted to walk around, so we got out and stuff. and then i went to the merch and got a nevershoutnever shirt and cd. Thennnn, play radio play! was next. they were really good. i had never listened to them prior, and they were good. haha. their lead singer reminded me of We The Kings's lead singer. after them, it was Ace Enders, and for them we went up closer to the mosh-pit area. about a song after we got there, Aaron Vegas and Nick (whiv) started a mosh pit, it was pretty funny. we got really close to the stage, like four or so rows away. and then i saw reece and river, two of the kids from slg that go to my school, so i said hey... haha. after ace enders was done, me and alix got back out. and we bought some water. then hellogoodbye was on, so we ventured back into the mosh pit. it was realllll fun. they did really good. untill, this girl next to me started punching me like a maniac, i'm like what the fuck? and she just punched me more. so i started to like leave, cause it was like 10:30ish and alix had said her mom was coming at like 10, hahah, and i got out, and gave aaron a hug bye, and then i lost her, and lost all service on my phone.. so i tried to find her again which was terribly insanely hard. and i finally got service and found her, but her mom wasn't coming untill 11, but we didn't want to try to get back into the mosh, so we stood by the meet and greet line for nevershoutnever!, and after a while we got bored of it, so we went to the pool table area. and then alix noticed austin waving to us, he's also in slg, and we went over and said hey. then we went back over to the meet and greet line. and we saw the lead singer of Ace Enders, and we talked to him for a little bit and got photos and he signed this promo card, i felt awkward getting his autograph, i dont get autographs these days... and the concert finally ended at like 11:20-ish, and alix's mom texted her and was like, im here come out RIGHT NOW! and we tried waiting a few more minutes, but her mom came in, and she made us leave, so we didn't get to 'meet' christofer drew. it was sad. i'm still sad. he's my favorite singer. i'll meet him at his next concert though. <3.

yea, it was really great show. (: if you weren't there you deffff missed out.

The harder I try the harder I fall, life's got me spinning in circles...

so. I got lazy, and never posted about the concert on the 1st of november.
it was amazing. So Let Go!, These guys from my school played first and they did really well. it was their first show, and it was incredible. then Kao Layor went on. I didn't really watch their set though. They sounded pretty ohkay. After was Lets Get It, which was amazing. I really really love their music, and after they finished I talked to their guitarist, Tyler for a good roughly hour, he was really cool, and I got their demo cd and it was great. Then The Arrival went on. I really enjoyed them. they have a lot of good songs. Afterwards, me and Alix went around and took pictures with peoples from the bands and stuff, while ASecondTooLate went on. They're pretty hardcore screamo, and I have their demo cd, but I've never listened to it... I dunno, I will sometime. ;) haha, I've been to two shows that they've played at. then we went home....
good show.

then this friday, Alix and I went to another So Let Go! show. They did really well, but River, Austin, Paul, Matt, and Reece were all saying they did pretty bad. Ehhh, I wasn't on stage, so I don't know what exactly they didn't do so hot, but it was pretty grand for their second concert. We stayed and talked to the guys for a while, while a few other bands performed, whom I don't remember their band names... like A Phiniox Architext and Red I Dead or something.. haha. they were good. Screamo, but good. ;)

happy halloween.

day 3.. oh my god.

soooo i had school, which sucked, and on fridays i have voice lessons, so i got home at around 4, and i put on my costume and got makeup and hair and everything and that took like an hour and a half. :[. so i left around 5, and got there at 5:45 ish. i got into line with Emily and Jacquline, that was cool. ha, as i said yesterday, i was dressed up as Norma Jean, or Marilyn Monreo, the early years, before she changed her name. we got let in at 6, exactly, and i got front row, again. ha, this is a habit that i really enjoy. (: kay, so phil bensen was up first. it was amazing, i was SOOOO glad he came to michigan, this was his first show here, ever, so that was really cool to be at it as well. he played only like four songs or so, so that kinda sucked. but yea. he was really amazing, and i really want to see him again. i've been a fan of him for about 2 years now. as he was playing whiv was setting up for going up second. like five minutes after phil finished what happened in vegas went on. they played 2 songs, and then they were told they had to be done to fit in everyone else, which really sucked. so they played their third song acousticly, and then got off. after that it was the love willows. i wasn't to fond of them, so alix and i left the area. (i left my purse on the stage, so that i could get my spot back later.) we went over and talked to the boys of vegas. first billy. just randomly., i dont really even remember what it was about, just like, the concert. haha. second aaron. he asked me when we were going to find a day to record, and i had no idea, so i gave him my number and my dad's number, (i'll tell you guys more about this later.) and then alix took a picture and i took one. then we talked to ron. and the steve. billy was changing, sooo we didn't bug him. but we talked to his brother dylan. he's pretty cool. after a while we went to the other side of the back area and met phil bensen. he was SOOOO cool. it was my first time meeting him, but he was really nice, and really cool. we chatted about a bunch of stuff, and took a bunch of pictures. :) my dad's possibly booking him sometime, so i got the information for that kinda stuff. i bought some push play merch, so i could get a wrist band for meet and greet. thennnnnnnnn, i started hearing screams of excitement and realized push play was on stage. sooo i headed back over to the area, and about 3/4th of the way through the first song i tapped on the girls shoulders who had taken my spot and asked for it back, which they let me, suprisingly. hahaha. the concert was really great. they did so incredible. cj literally grabbed my hand about 50 times. like, not even overreating. hahah. it was cool. and i was in front of nick (i swear, every single push play show i'm in front of him.), he kept looking at me and smiling and then he held my hand for a little bit. cj was shirtless. it was amazing. he's so fucking skinny. ha. steve took off his shirt about halfway into it. they played all my favorites. it was amazing. i think it was like the song after umbrella, or maybe umbrella, and steve through his hat across the stage (he was like, slash or something.) and it landed like right next to my purse so i grabbed it and put it on for the rest of the song. after he came over to the side i was on and asked for it back, and half willingly i gave it to him, and then into the mic he said "you can have it back after the show." (: and like a bunch of people gave me like evil stares and this little girl next to me was like, oh my gosh your sooooooo lucky. :p ew die. hah. and pretty much yea, it was just fabolous, they ended with Away Away, as usual, and then before steve got off the stage he gave me his hat. =] (which i have on my head currently.) after they got off, the security guards were like, you HAVE to leave. sooo everyone went outside. and see me, i didnt have a coat, so i pretty much started to freeze. ha, me, alix, and a few others hung around what happened in vegas while the line for meet and greet for push play started to die down. then we ventured into the line. it was an extremely short meet and greet. but it was cute, cause the second cj/steve saw me they said "NORMA JEAN." ;) hahaha. it was cute. we took a group photo of steve, me, cj, alix, nick and derek, and then i gave 'em all hugs and we had to 'go.' so we went behind them a few yards. they finished up their meet and greet, and we found mr. phil bensen, who had promised us a mini acoustic show. so about 15 or so of us sat around while he played some songs. it was really cute. he played paper airplanes (which i asked for), i think it's called like 'Not this time LA' or something, and this other one called like 'love song' or something. it was really cute, he's only played it once in concert, so it was cool. =] then these stupid security guards wanted us to leave, sooo we took a few more photos then headed out.

ah, very good show, very cool stuff. kinda sad i didnt get to talk to the boys a whole lot, buttttt it was really nice. this week was hella fun, i'm so glad i went to the shows. :)

& nowww, another concert tomorrow. The Arrival, Lets Get It, and So Let Go! :) ahhh, i'm going concert crazy. :p

day 2.

of push play.

haaaa wow.

soooo i got to the venue at like 3:30. it was like two minutes away from my house. alexa, stephanie, joslynn, katie, mary, (german foriegn exchange student whom's name i totally forgot.), and two other people were already there. sooo i got in line. like five minutes later emily (q) and jacquline show up. and then alix comes, and she was 'with' me, sooo she came to where i was, emily and jacquline didnt care, cause we're all friends and stuff. ;) haha. as more people came we just chilled. a LOT of people i knew came. hahaha. seriously i knew almost everyone at the show. it was cool. there wasn't a whole lot, once again. around like 4:45ish, the boys arrived to the venue, and seeing as the back entrance was the only entrance they came through it. hah, as they were going inside i got hugs from all of them. steve stopped to talk to me and the people around me for a few, i commented on him wearing the same hoodie that he wore last time, and we talked about how guys shouldn't wear vests, even though him and cj were both wearing them at that moment... then he had to go inside. it was reallyyyyyy cold. but we waited outside during their soundcheck, which was amazingly easy to hear through the door. and at 5:55 PM (i looked at my phone when we were inside.) we finally got in. everyone decided to sit down, cause it's just the michigan-style to do it that way. we didn't have a lot wait, probably like ten minutes then i look over my shoulder to see cj, derek, nick, and steve stepping over people to get onto the stage. hahaha, they came right past me, i think cj gave me a high five? weirdo. hahah. then they started. the first song was starlight addiction. amazing. then mary said to steve that she print screened her itunes counts because he didnt believe her when she said she had 10,000+ plays on that song. hahah, cj read the top played songs, and it was funny. they played a couple more, and they talked a lot to us. cj kept like shocking his lips on the mircophone. honestly, i think he enjoyed it, seeing as he was pretty much EATING the mic. hahaha. they played Dreamers, oh my favorite. after i said it was my favorite and i have the most play counts on that on my itunes. and cj was like, does it come anywhere near 10,000? and i'm like, noo, i listen to it on the cd. ;) and he's like, touché. hahah. they talked about how when they went to (kentucky? i dunno southern states.), that every single restraunt they went into someone played sweet home alabama, and some old drunk dude in the back would always go YEA! when that person would start the first few chords. then they attempted to play it. it was amusing. haha, i had alix's camera and recorded it. it should be on my youtube later. and nick and derek kept looking at me and whispering. i have paranoia, soooo i feel like they were talking about me, butttt what else would they be talking about if they're looking at me, smiling and laughing and stuff. :p whatever. hopefully it was good stuff, then i dont really care. :) uhm, they played Heart Attack, which is gonig to be on their new cd, and it's pretty much my favorite. i love it. and they talked about how they're playing new songs tomorrow! exciting. i convinced them to play umbrella, and it was funny, cause again i had alix's camera and was recording cause it's like my favorite cover they do, and during the song cj stood up and he sang into the camera, then high fived it.... lameeeooooo. ;) hahaha. they played a few more, and they did that cool thingy from the commerical where it's trying to be sexy and it's like "bah da da da dahhhhh." ahaha, it was funny. then they ended with Away Away, and for that we all stood up. the concert was amazing. and then when they finished cj was like, welllll this is awkward, we stop playing and you all stop screaming. hahaha. :) it was cute. then steve and cj went downstairs for meet and greet stuff. and me and alix went to go buy some merch. i bought their cd, again. cause i'm lame. :p ha. and nick got the wrapper off for me, cause im phyiscally unable to do stuff like that. then we went to the end of the meet and greet line. after a while of playing around (sitting on their chairs on stage, and bribing little girls for guitar picks.), it was our turn. emily and jacquline were in front of us so they went, then alix went. i was paprazzi for her, then we switched roles. the moment i went down there steve put his arms out for a hug. it was cute. and then nick was like "LAURA JEAN!" and i was like, heyyyy ! haha. and cj was like, "it's NORMA Jean. duhhh." and im like, uhhh sure. haha. i got hugs from 'em all. nick was sitting down and i was like, are you gunna stand up for a real hug? and he's like, no. then he stood up and gave me one. haha. and then i got one from cj and he's like, i think i just drew on your hood. and i'm like, ahhh did you? and he's like yea, i did and im like, ahh no, and he's like, haha no i didn't. and i was like, so what should i be for hallowen, and cj's like, i think you should be norma jean, and i'm like ohkay, i'll be her, and steve was like, do you even know who she is, and i'm like, yea she's marilyn, and he's like marilyn monroe. and i was like, yep. haha. sooooo i know who i'm being for halloween now. :) and then i got a hug from derek. then we went to go take a picture, and it was really awkward cause i couldnt put my arm around steve, but he had his around me.... so that like kinda was weird. and then cj was like, i just drew in your hood. and i'm like stoooppp :[ hahah. and then i was like, this is the second copy of your cd i have. and they're like, wow haha that's cool. yea. then i left the meet and greet. and we were told to go outside, so we did. and about 10 minutes or so later the boys came out, and i took a photo with nick and got a even more of a real hug, and then i saw cj like shivering and i went over to him and i was like you look so cold and he's like i am, and pulled me into a hug. and then a bunch of people came over and were like cj can we take a photo and he's like, can you take group photos we gotta leave soon, so alix, me, sam and cj took a photo, then shanya and becca took one with him, and he gave everyone a hug again then gave me another one, haha then he went over to their cars. and instantly the people started like talking/freaking and i'm like wow, your cool. ahah. and they deff heard everything they said cause they were like 20 feet away by the cars. and then as they/we were leaving they honked their horn and waved goodbye through the car windows. hahaha, freaks.

it was a gooddddd day. better than yesterday even. :)

oh boy. i cant wait for tomorrow.

day 1.

of push play..

wow. just wow.
ha, so i got there with alix at like 3:45, and we went to the main area, and no one was in line, so the lady was like do you guys want to come in line? and we're like, uhh sure, so we did. we were 4(me) and 5(alix) :D soo yea. (mary and dominic and keagan 1-3.) uhm so we waited, and i thought i had seen someone i knew upstairs so i went up stairs and saw emily (rogal), and we talked for a little, then i went back in line. and i talked to olvia, and alexa (from mexico) and her sisters joslynn (spelling. :[) and stephanie. they were cool. and so more people came. at like 5, steve, nick, cj, and derek went on stage and did soundcheck. so that was cool. i went over to the are and waved at them. haha, they waved back. and during soundcheck of dreamers i did the wave and nick laughed at me. :) hah. so they finished up soundcheck after... starlight addiction? i think.. yea. so then we were finally let in at like five thirty. and we got this front stage passes. so that was niffty. me and alix set our bags in the front row and then went upstairs to get some food for alix. then we came back down and chatted with peoples. i promoted myself a bit, cause that just what i do. and i met a couple cool people. :) thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, the cool kids were let into the front area and we talked to some other cool people. then, the announcer dude was introuduced push play, so we went back to our seats. they finally came out. i had this other girls camera cause she was in the way back and i had front sooo, i was being a good person. :) go me. hah. and yea, they were all like michigan's our favorite and stuff. it was cool. they played like, six songs or something? ha, they played this new one, heart break or something? it was cute. and they played my favorite dreamers. and i think starlight addiction. and up all night. and something before that. and umbrella. and that one was cute cause cj threw his guitar pick to me. (: hahah. and then after for their last song steve was like, i wanna see YOU singing and pointed to me. so that was cute. it was away away. thennnn meet and greet. whooo. so me and alexa and joslynn and stephanie and mary and alix and dominic and keagan took a few pictures before it. twas fun. hahah! then we were like LAST in line for the vip people. yea, it was deff on purpose. and the line went really fast. sooo we went up and i went first and they were like, you were at the other michigan shows right? and i was like, haha yea. it was cool, i swear i'm really obnixious or something cause EVERYONE always remembers me. :p and then they signed my little frontstage pass. yea, we talked and hugged and stuff. and then i was like do you remember my name and they're like, uhhhhh no. haha, and i was like it's laura jean, and cj's like ohhh like nora gene? and i'm like, uhhh, no. haha. and he's like do you care if i call you nora? and im like, haha go ahead. what a freak xD. and i took like 49823994 pictures. not really but, like a lot. :p haah. then alix took some and stuff. yea. then me alix mary keagan and dominic just kinda sat there, right behind them for pretty much the rest of their meet and greet. sometimes i would like go over and talk to peoples, but yea, pretty much for the entire meet and greet. then when they were done we took some more pictures. haha. (: it was fun. and steve was like are you going to the other shows? and im like, yea, but i have like NO money left for meet and greets. and he's like, we'll find you. and im like, hahaha ohkayy. :p yea. it was a great show. can't wait till tomrrow. but im so tired, i'm going to ike go crazy.

pictures later, they'll be on the myspace.
peace.

I am running out of words to say...

get ready for a LONG one.

1st (oct 17-19)- rally. it was way way to short. we headed out on friday around 9 am. the bus ride, sucked. way tooooo long. we got to the YMCA camp around six pm. i seriously freaked out. I hugged all my friends are screamed at the sight of them. my minnesota babies! :D it was amazing to be 'home.' i swear Y.O.U. Rallies are the most incredible place in the entire world. I put my stuff in Ducan Cabin. i swear i always get that at fall. then i just hung out with everyone till opening cerimony. then it was families. the family this time around didnt seem as close as usual. i dunno, it's probably cause im just so used to the longer time from june (five days instead of the like 1 and a half). anyways, families was cool. yeaaaaaaa blahh... saturday i had an emo-mazing day. pms-like-a-bitch-day. ;) yea. it wasn't so much fun. but i got a lot of love so that was good. i was also just so like stressed. but i talked to my yst, twitch, and it helped. :) he's good at that stuff. yeaaaaa that was during free time. uhm, i hardly ate anything while there. cause i hate the food. oh, and i forgot to bring sleeping stuff, so i got like 10 minutes of sleep that weekend. uhm, skipping around cause im tired.... the dance. it was halloween themed. me being the awesome person i am, and couldnt really think of anything did the 'over-kill costume' ;) yea. oooh and my friend Ian wore my purple jeans. ;) haha! it was funny. Matt asked me to dance for the 2nd slow song, so we did. it was nice. :) and then for the... fourth? or third, i dont remember, i danced with Twitch. that was nice too. :) uhm, i really hated stairways. :p eh. wasn't so amazing this time, sadly. ah well. it was really just to short. and i plan and WILL go to minnesota before june rally. because, i have to. i miss everyone from there so badly.

monday, oct 20. - challenge day - amazingly like rally, only at the school setting. we did a lot of "challenges." it was cool. there was a lot of hugging. there were 'familes' there too. in mine was Mr. Lafferty (my bio teacher), Lisa, Austin, and this freshmen and this junior. it was full of tears of sadness and happiness. that day was just depressing and tiring. i was honestly a wreck after rally and then all of that, it was major overkill. i cried about 20 times that day, literally. emo-tastical.

saturday, oct 25. - concert - so i was originally going to go to a different show, but i changed plans like literally last second because my friends Jordan and Nancy needed a ride. I went to see Cash Cash, The White Tie Affair, Tyga, and Metro Station. cash cash and the white tie affair did really good. we missed part of cash cash, cause we got there late, but whatevs. we joined the mosh pit during the white tie affair, and after they finished their lead singer threw his towel into the audience, causing an imdiate cat-fight. oh, terrible. there was punching, and dragging of peoples, and pushing, and shoving, and pulling and everything. and groping up on each other and fdksfjsld;k! ew. it wasn't the best. these like 10 year olds were screaming "save room for jesus." it was hella 'nooying. i wanted to smack them and say GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE, YOUR TOO YOUNG. i didn't though. after a while it just got rediculus, and nancy, jordan and me went upstairs (it was at clutch cargo's.) tyga really wasn't that good. i'm not to big on rap, sooo, it just didn't really interest me. i sat in a couch on the upper place for a while. the Metro station entered the stage. they did fantastic. i realllyyyy enjoyed their performance. they're really good musicians. they sang some real good songs, dear hannah, 17 forever, shake it, california, and a few others, im not to familiar with (i dont own their cd, sadly. :[.) afterwards, jordan, nancy, and i met the bands. all of them. they were all real nice. (: i got pictures with just about everyone but mason and trace, cause we just barely met them. :p ha. good show.

nowwwwww, this week is going to be crazy.
today i'm going to see high school musical 3. i've been told it's really good and there's a lot of tears, soo yea.
tomorrow i have push play at somerset.
thursday it's push play in rochester.
friday it's phil bensen, what happened in vegas, and push play at the eagle theatre.
saturday it's lets get it, the arrival, and so let go.

hah, i'll fill you in on those, later.

fingers crossed i don't die of sleep exhustion.
on top of all of those shows, i have an oral history project in english due on halloween. joyyy.

Whoa Oh Whoa Oh, why do I put myself in these situations?

Yesterday was great. (:

Started off reallyyyyyyy slow, and I had way to much homework, but Around 5:30 Alix, me and her mom left for the Concert. the car ride was nothing special, but when we got to the venue it was crazy how many people were in line. There had to be at least 850+ people outside by the time we got there. We didn't really have to wait in line, they started letting people go in before we got there, so we just hopped into line. once we got inside I bought two shirts (one for me, one for Emily Q). The concert was going to start soon so we got as somewhere near-ish. probably like 10-13 rows of people were in front of us. First off was Sing It Loud. That's the band Alix and I really came for. They did really good! It was amazing, and they're awesome live. Second Up was Hit The Lights. I've never really listened to their music prior, but they did pretty good. During their set, Alix's mom texted her and said that one of the members from Sing It Loud was signing autographs and stuff, so we left our place, which by that point was about 6-8 row, to go see who it was. It turned out to be nate, their bassist. he was really sweet! we took a bunch of pictures and got a couple autographs. it was cool, he was really sweet. then we went back to the concert part. A little bit later, Forever the Sickest Kids was up. They did reallyyyyyyy good! their second song they played was Whoa Oh, which is like one of my FAVORITE songs so it was good to hear it, at the same time, another member of Sing It Loud came out so we went to see who it was. This tim e it was Ben, their keyboardist. He was pretty awesome, we took photos and he signed our stuff then we went back to the crowd. By this time we were probably like in 'row' twenty. :p hahhaa. We watched the rest of Forever the Sickest Kids set then went back over to Alix's mom to just calm down for a bit, Cobra wasn't going to be on for about half an hour. So I'm just standing there and I'm watching some people leaving and stuff, and I see a "To Write Love On Her Arms" shirt. and I was about to shout to the person wearing it, "hey I like your shirt." and then I look up and I see Nick. So I kinda like freak and stand like directly infront of him and he looks up and goes "HEY!" hah. it was funny. Nick, Steve, and Billy (3/5th of What Happened In Vegas [they weren't performing tonight]) were there. I gave 'em all hugs and said hey, and Alix went totally silent, cause she loves them. And I introduced her to them and took a photo of them and stuff and it was cool. Nick asked me if I was going to the Halloween Party and I said yea, and Steve asked me if I had been crowd surfing, haha I said no, sadly. (he had been.) ;) Then they went outside or something. And me and Alix had to go to the bathroom so we did. hahah. So we came out and this time we went into the middle area of the venue. It was like a cooler angle for viewing. And then we saw Billy again and he was standing near us. and we saw Nate (from Sing it Loud) again. Finally Cobra Starship went on. They did really good. They swore a lot, hahaha, Alix wasn't a fan of that, neither was her mom. It was kinda funny. We jumped and stuff, and they played a bunch of good songs and stuff. And then we had to go, cause it was getting pretty late. (Cobra was still playing, but it was like 10:30 and I was sooo tired.) we told billy goodbye and headed out. As we were walking back to our car, we saw some of the guys from Forever The Sickest Kids by their bus. (there was a gate between us and them) and I asked one of them for a hug through the gate, which I did get. :) hahah. It was cool.

So now I'm really sore, and can barely talk without hurting my throat, butttttt whatever.
it was really fun. :] And I can't wait till the next concert I go to <33 =]

Did you take this for me or the home team?

Have you ever over heard people talking about you and they're like RIGHT next to you?
And they aren't talking about nice things either.

I can't stand that. Just fucking say it to my face if you have a problem with me. :/

To add to the reasons why I hate school.
To add to the reasons why I want to show everyone what I'm made of.
To add to the reasons why I don't make friends well.

oh goodness. I can NOT wait till this week is OVER.

four. more. days. till. RALLY.

I am honestly going crazy for it. <33333333333.

Lately..

I've been listening to a LOT of new-bands. or like less famous bands, or just music that I normally don't. for example, here's a small list.

-What Happened In Vegas.
- Never Scream Never.
- The Beatles.
- Owl City.
- So Let Go!
- Hellogoodbye.
- Metro Station.

etc, etc, etc. :)

and I've reallyyyyy been liking them. :] hahaha.

on a TOTALLY different note...

today was extremely scary. like legit. I was so scared.

I seriously was about 2 seconds away from a car crash. this stupid idiot car drove directly at my mom, with me, alix, and lee lee in the car too. Like they sped up too. And almost hit us. thank god my mom like ran the red light or I would probably either be dead cause it would have hit me head on or in the hospital. I was so terrified. I legit cried in the car for like 12 minutes. It really made me like think. Who will be the ones that care when I die? Who will cry? Who will miss me? It was so scary. And now I'm pretty like terrifed of cars. :p

because you make me believe in myself when nobody else can help...

Sooo, I've been working on getting more friends on my music myspace.
then I'll start putting music up there. I'm either going to the studio or
going to figure garageband out and record at home (I just don't know
how to convert the files to MP3 format :p).

today, I went on a requesting spree. like requesting legit as many people
as I could. Well, I got to the maximum limit myspace would let me.
hah. That was pretty "cool." I sent out about 1000 friend request though,
so it makes sense. :p

I'm feeling better since my last blog post, just so you know.

oh, and I'm not going to homecoming. I think I'm going to a what happened
in vegas concert the night of homecoming game, it's next week friday. I'm
still sorting that out.

if you aren't friends yet, do it now, and save me my 1000 for tomorrow. ;)

my heart has been hurt alot....

ohmygod.

i've been so emo. its bad. its real bad. i keep crying. over stupid things. but things i need. people i need. not want, but need. I'm legit going insane. and the stupid situation with my glasses is not helping me one bit. this stupid place where my glasses are coming in from have taken like three extra weeks then they orginially said. they first screwed up the lenses, and now they're just not in yet. i'm getting so fustraded. i can't see. i'm so blinded. i'm so hurt. my heart just aches. legit it aches. i can't stand when people are talking about love. i can't stand it when people tell me about how good their relationship with their boyfriend is going. i swear everyone's in love but me. i am so alone. no one actually sees whats going on with me. no one even cares. i've tried talking. it doesn't help. crying isn't solving any problems. i need someone. i need love. i need hugs. i need happiness. i'm so so lonely.

god i'm depressing.

in happier news, what i need is coming up.
Y.O.U Fall Rally is coming up. October 17th CAN NOT come soon enough.

i'm legit counting down the days...

19 more days. pray i can make it that much longer.
Elle.

It's just another day...

but this weekend wasn't.

i went to two concerts in three days.

pretty fun.

Friday -- What Happened In Vegas. it was at this bar in Mt. Clemens. it was pretty fun actually. The boys were suppose to go on at like eight, but they didn't get on till like ten. hah. and I met up with them all and talked for a while and stuff, so that was nice. there were a few other bands there too, I've checked them out, I like a few, yea. the concert was just great. (: hahhaa i have a couple photos of aaron looking right at me and then this one of his hair.... he was too close to the lense I guess? hah. And I asked Billy for a guitar pick, and he gave me one. so that was fun. hah. yes, it was a fantastical show. I got home about 12: something AM and got like no sleep. haha.

Saturday -- 8 AM wake up. I baby sat one of my madres' daycare children. it was 'fun.' 10 hours of babysitting = 70 dollars pay, so that was nice. I was worn out after that. Finished around 6 PM. yea. just dandy.

Sunday --- Kate Voelege, Lesley Roy, Virginia Coalition. I met Lesley and VC. and technecially Kate because she was leaving this building and I was like HEY KATE and I was with Emily, Sam, and Olivia, and she was like Hey guys. so that was cool. haha, during Lesley's set, her last song was "I'm gone, I'm going." and that premiered on FN MTV the same night that Jonas Brothers were on it, so I rememered hearing it and liking it, so I screamed, I LOVE THAT SONG! and she was happy about that. it was cool. and we didn't really watch VC cause they kinda scared us (me and sam, emily and olivia left after lesley.) and then Kate was awesome, but there was the majorly tall dad in front of us, and he pissed me off cause he wouldn't move and i couldn't see that well cause of him. haha it was funny for Kate cause after every song I would scream something like "I LOVE YOU" or "YOUR AMAZING." and she loved it. and this one time i screamed "CAN I HAVE A GUITAR PICK?!" and she's like "something about a carpet?" and I'm like "GU-iTAR PICK" haha, and she's like "oh see that could have been three things, Carpet, Arm Pit, or Guitar Pick. " then she came over to me and handed me one. hahah it was pretty sweet, and Sam was pretty jealous. haha, sorry sammy. ;)

yea, goooodddd weekend.

oooh, and I bought my ticket for Push Play/What Happened in Vegas on Halloween.
so i'm pretty excited for that, and Oct 30th, Push Play. (:

<333 concerts are my best friend, for reals.

Don't take this personal...

uhm, I officially can't stand being sick. It's gross.
I like died in school today. literally, ew.

My bus driver NEVER came. the middle school bus driver picked up me and the rest of my route.

there was about 90 people on one bus. it was mildly dangerous. :p

Today I was like freaking out.
I thought I was going insane, cause I saw like 20 girls with Jonas Tee Shirts on and I'm like what the fuck am I forgetting some Jonas-Related holiday today?

hah. wow I'm an Idiot.
-------

I hope Nick Jonas Is having a better day than I am.

oh, by the way, it's His birthday today. :p

coooooooool. hope he's doing fine, and having fun with
his lil' doggie. (:

first day...

today was the first day of being a sophomore at high school.

i woke up at about 6:18.

got finished getting ready at 6:30, ate breakfast, then I went to the door and see my bus, I grab my backpack but I left my hoodie on the chair, and by the time I get out the door my bus has already left.

my mom drove me.

Homeroom was good, same people as last year, 'cause of course we all have the same last names as last year.

1st hour is english. It's the same english teacher that I had last year, and she's pregnant so I'm not expecting to have her all semester. And I deff have no friends in that class.

2nd hour is choir. It's.. blah. I'm a 2nd alto apparently? not really. :p

3rd hour is history, going to be a BLAST. I have audrey in my class so should be good.

4th hour is biolegy. and i can't spell. :p haha, brenda's in that class soooo will be awesome.

5th hour is french. hahha, i'm like the only one in the class that can half understand what she's saying.

6th hour is geometry. seems like it's going to be a lot of work.

I have third lunch tomorrow, which is at like 12 AM. :p that's gunna suck.

it was a half day, so no homework, but i have a test tomorrow in geometry (like i said, a lot of work.)

I got on the bus, and got to the last stop and found out I was on the wrong bus. so I had to walk like half a mile home.

yep, pretty sucky first day. :/

not looking forward to this year, at all.

Don't wanna fall asleep, Don't know if I'll get up...

uhm, Insomnia sucks.

basically it keeps you up ALL night.

last night/this morning was worst.

6 AM, i finally fell asleep.

uhm, fuck, school starts in like three days,
and I'll have to be waking UP at 6AM.

hah, just kill me now. ]:

also last night Jonas did a commenting spree.
yea, I didn't get one, so don't ask me...

uhm, this week was cool-ish.

I met Corbin Bleu, Raven Symone, and Justin Stein.

Corbin was cooool.

Raven was a bitch :p.

Justin is awesome! like, so awesome.
I met him/talked to him the most and he's so nice!

check him out if you've never heard about him: myspace.com/justinsteinmusic

i also met this other singer named Molly Marie, she's twelve but pretty good singer, she's very country.

uhm, so yea, my head is throbbing in pain from like six hours of sleep (6-11.)

uhm, when will the nightmare end?

I DO NOT WANT TO START SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

summer can't be over, it really can't :/.

<3333333.
till next time,
Laura.

I'd rather just be alone, if I know that I can't have you.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO on tuesday Jonas released a new cd titled A Little Bit Longer.

It's pretty much my newest obsession.

I love it when they release new cds, cause for roughly a week, all the fans actually care about their music, instead of just obsessing over their looks. :p

anyways,
I don't have a favorite track, but I do like some more than others.
it's half their fault for that though, because they released four songs earlier on iTunes.

mmmmm, LoveBug, Can't Have You, Sorry, One Man Show, Video Girl, BB Good, Got Me Going Crazy, Shelf, and Tonight i prefer above the rest.

Burnin' Up, is becoming overplayed, which I hate.

Pushin' Me Away, I've heard since Look Me In The Eyes tour, so it's just kinda old.

A Little Bit Longer, sucks. honestly, they killed it with the drums.

Happy Anniversary to Mr. Jonas & Mrs. Jonas. A very happy 21 years <3.

oh, and it's some kid named joseph adam jonas's birthday today too.
ehhh whatever he shouldn't be allowed to turn nineteen.
that's just gross.

Friday, August 8, 2008

I'll do whatever It takes, to turn this around..

I can not believe, that it has been 1 entire year since.

The scariest day of my life.

Joseph, you have no clue how thankful I am that you did this.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you SO SO SO SO MUCH.

I still shudder to watch this. I still can not believe it.

billy is sooo cool (:
HAHAH BILLY'S FACE!!!!!!! (:

August 4 - Push Play's acoustic show.

It was pretty bomb. there was about 50 people? roughly. possibly a dozen more or so.
it was at Rockabilly's, which is a record store, that is freaking SMALL! :P
concert was incredible. i loved their set. it was small :/.
but it was good! I 'talked' to CJ while he was onstage a few times.
i made a comment about them HAVING to play dreamers.
and he told a story about how he had to burp and i was like "you'd say excuse me right?" and he said "I would say excuse me." (then he did during the next song ;))
& i had the idea that cause people in the back couldn't see, we should sit down. i tried first and about 10 or so people agreed with me. then the guy who owned the play told everyone to sit, and it worked. Cj said "i love how everyone's sitting on the ground" and i'm like "KINDGARTEN STYLE!!" ;)
hahah. it was sweet. i took a video

it's of away away!
i LOVEE that song! <3.
mmmmm, then there was a meet and greet, butttt me and kelly, met this other cool band (well 3/5th's of it) called What Happened In Vegas. We met Ron, Billy, and Steve. (:
they were SOOOO sweet! we mostly were with Billy and Steve cause Ron when to go get merch or something? :P hahaa!

and then we met Push Play. Derek & CJ remembered me from New York from August 6th/8th, 2007! it was pretty cool (: and made me happy.
we took a few photos (correction, my friends did, i don't have them yet :P)
& yea it was cool. i showed them their comment to me from over a year ago saying they would come to michigan, and they thought it was pretty awesome. and I gave CJ a kiss on the cheek cause he's TOOO CUTE <333. :)

uhhh, we hung out with Billy & Steve for a while more, then we had to go cause my dad was gunna be there soon.

August 5th, 2008 -

So me and kel were freaking out cause we needed a ride for today. butttt my dad being the awesome guy he is got off work early and got us there at six (when the doors opened.) we had to still buy tickets (which were 10 dollars each at the door) and out of the blue this woman came over to us and was like do you need tickets? and we're like YES! so we got TWO tickets for 10 dollars. (: hah. it was insane when we got inside. there was prolly about 200 or more people there. and then we went into a small room, then switched into a bigger room. we choose the side of the venue causeeee there was like 2 rows as opposed to the middle there was like 10. the lead singer of what happened in vegas came out and met a few people before the show, and he pointed to me and was like "I like your shirt!" (i was wearing a whiv shirt i bought the day prior.) haha, so we talked to him for a bit, and i was like, YOU BETTER COME OVER TO THIS SIDE (: and he's like, just scream and i will. soooo then firstttt What Happened In Vegas came out. They were incredible! it was my first time hearing them really, and they did so well. I was on Billy's side. :) mmm, they just did great! as promised Aaron came over to our side a lot and he held my hand a lot and i touched his hair during the concert and yea it was awesome <3. hahaha! after they were done kelly didn't want to stand for Push Play. Neither did I but I really like push play. after forever they came out and i went back to where i was but there were a bunch of people :/ soooo i kinda had lost my place. ehh that sucked. but the concert was pretty awesome. it was really loud too. the speakers were really really like loud. hah. it was fun though. after the concert i found kel, and we hung with what happened in vegas. they are SOOOO sweet! i love them. i took a bunch of pictures with them (again on other people's cameras.) and it was just chill as heck. i called mariah to talk to all of the band. thennn i went to go to the push play meet and greet. kelly called me while i was meeting them so i hardly talked to them, but i got another photo (on my dispoable camera.) so i don't have it yet. :P hah.
and yea it was pretty awesome. i loved itttt!

Julyy.

Oh how the time does fly.

this month has already been crazy.

June 31st Mariah, my like best friend from ohio, came over and we had a lot of fun. (:
and then on July 4th, my family, and mariah packed our bags and went on a trip to Wisconsin.
July 6th, it was insane.
Mariah and I woke up at 5 to the sounds of her phone going off. It was Katie, texting her telling her that she knew where Jonas Brothers were staying (what hotel.) so they came to our hotel, took showers, (Katie and Caroline) and then we headed out to their hotel. (name withheld.)
we just kinda chilled outside and were singing and dancing and around 8 AM a car that looked RELALY familiar drove up. I swore it was jonas's but I wasn't sure. and the fact that an old man came out of it didn't help. 8 - 8:30ish people were loading up the back of the car with golf clubs and shoes, etc. at first we thought it was a cello case, but then we were positive it was golifing clubs. at about 8:45 we started singing "Burning Up" by Jonas Brothers. Litterally moments after we started, Nick and Joe walked out of the hotel.
at first we couldn't tell it was them. It just looked like two guys in shorts. then Joe waved to us, and their people waved us over.

We came over and talked to nick and joe a bit. Joe had such a speech impediment. it was adorable. (;Nick looked deathly tired, but he said he was fine. Kevin was still sleeping, and as we had guessed it the boys were going golfing. It was great seeing them again. but it felt weird. like, they just were so so normal.

hahah joe is such a creeper in the bottom one xP.

but it was chill. then they went golfing. we just kinda stayed at the hotel cause we wanted to see kevin. aroud 12 Nick and Joe arrived back at the hotel from golfing. Nick waved over to us, and I motioned him over to us. He gave me a look of "oh i want to :/" but there were about six girls behind him trying to get him to notice them, so him being the gentleman he is, turned around and let them talk to him. Joe on the otherhand motioned us over and talked to us for a bit. then one of their people told them they had to go inside. Nick gave me a look of  'sorry I didn't get to talk to you this time.' and half protested going inside, but their people made them. we continued waiting, cause we really wanted to see kevin (Caroline, Katie, and Mariah had never met Jonas ever before this day.) around 1 O'clock two tour buses showed up in front of the hotel. stuff was getting put into it, and stuff was getting taken out of other things.

Big Rob's microphone stuff. (:

Kevin's stuff (:

a ton of people started showing up, and around 1:45 there was roughly 30 people there, most wearing CAMP ROCK shirts, with Demi & Shane on them. there were also several mom's there that had their camera phones ready to take photos. it was sicking, because at 8:45/9 AM it was just Nick, Joe, Mariah, Caroline, Katie, and Me, & now there was a TON of people. at about 2 O'clock Kevin, Nick, and Joe finally emerged from the hotel (this was the only time that Big Rob was with them.) with Big Rob behind their trail. all the girls started screaming, it was really annoying, but I started yelling "KEVIN! KEVIN! KEVIN JONAS! KEVIN!" and he came over to where I was. He was like "yea?" and I told him that me and my friends had been there since early this morning and that we've already met his brothers but my friend mariah has been a fan forever and really just wants a hug. and he gave me this look. he just looked deeply in my eyes and understood (: hahah, and he gave mariah the biggest hug, ever. people continually screamed and then they all finally made it onto their bus where everyone screamed LOUDER. and mariah almost passed out, (she had been crying almost every time we met them and was like crying the hardest when kevin came out.) and it was just chaos. but mariah basically fell to the ground. and people around didn't even care. I was getting really fustraded with everyone screaming. and I saw the boys looking out their window at mariah. it was intense. I finally helped her up, and we left. but I found it funny that their buses didn't leave until mariah was ohkay again. (;  fastforward through lunch, we got to summerfest there were a ton of people there, 26 thousand to be exact, for the jonas brothers concert. we had lawn seats. they sucked ass cause you couldn't see a thing, but the concert itself was incredible. and i'll never forget the moment of A Little Bit Longer when Nicholas said to sing along, and all I could hear in the ampitheatre was Nicholas, Mariah, and Me. it was just, incredible.

 yea, that's the only photo I took all night, sad huh? (;

I took like four videos, but they're all like 20 seconds long at most.

www.youtube.com/ljjbxhellobeautiful if you wanna watch 'em (;

my phone died during the fourth song.

It was fab though.

if your going, you'll LOVE it!

I'll post another blog later about July 11th, cause I have dance in a little under an hour, and I still have to eat dinner. (:

July 22nd is my birthday, don't forget.

who's getting me a present? (:

Till then, ♥
Laura Jean <3.

I'll be your footprints in the sand..

before i do anything, check out ryan narciso -- www.myspace.com/ryannarciso

he's amazing. i think i've posted about him before.
he's got a new song out! :]

mmmmm.

NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!
thank you lord.

i think i'm going to the carnival about a mile from my house tomorrow.
but i semi dont wanna. i dunno. it's not there for me.

i've been in kind of a semi-emo-istic mood today.

it's not the weather, it's beautiful out today.

Yesterday it rained. and I was going to play ultimate with the guys, but cause of the rain they canceled. So I had to walk home in the rain, like three miles. and I was lost the entire time.
and I was SOAKING wet when I got home. =/

I have somewhat of a head-jumble.
I'm not sure exactly what I want.
I'm having second, and third thoughts.
Nothing really going the way I want.

I'm loosing meaning to my dreams.
They're really confusing, when usually I can pick them out.
I want to just stay under the covers and hide.

I had a test and a quiz today.
I was suppose to have two quizes, but my science teacher let us off the hook.

my history test, I think I bombed. I'll be happy if I got a D-.
my english quiz was easy. I'm actually on track with the book we're reading, To Kill A Mockingbird.

It's somewhat confusing. but I don't like spark notes. I rather read it, honestly.

I want to write a song, but everything I seem to write has to do about love or men.
and I don't want to write about that.

I feel like I'm loosing some people. I don't know who they are anymore.
They don't know who I am. And yet, I miss them.

Mary's going to Canada today.
she'll be there for a week.

I've been really busy lately, but this week was so low key, and I had nothing.

I miss play rehersals. I liked not being home till 10 PM. It was extremely enjoyable,
because I was around people.

I find Myspace and Facebook unappealing these days.
It's extremely unlike me.

I'm torn, like a ripped picture.

Guys like to PMS and confuse me.
It's really hard to figure them out.

Nick can't dance.

I really want a sidekick phone.

nobody has a Razr these days.  =O

I need to stop biting my nails. they're to short.

I'm breaking my code of outfits, and I've been wearing baggy pants and shorts.
It's unlike me completely, I feel so odd if I don't wear jeans usually.

I feel ugly.
and that I'm hiding underneath make up.
yet it doesn't cover ANYTHING that matters.

Junior guys are complete flirts.

I'm starting to have friends at my school.
there is a little under a month left.

I'm beginning to notice most the people I text
DO go to my school these days.

I wish I had a time machine so I could undo somethings I've done wrong in the past.
but then again people always tell me, "Everything Happens For A Reason."
whether I like it or not.

I don't like michigan.
It always rains on the WORST days.

I feel so alone,  yet I'm gaining a bunch of friends.
Every other sentence I say to my parents seems to be talking
of some new friend from school.

The other day I had a dream. I was walking to school. When I got there I was at my old middle school. I saw all my friends from my old school, that I probably haven't talked to in months. It was two of my friends birthdays on the same day, when in reality their birthdays are on opposite ends of the calendar. I saw the first person I met at my new school. she was telling me something about some bus if you added A's to the title on it it would spell some word. I tried calling my dad to tell him to come pick me up. but his number was backwards every time I typed it. I finally wrote "Mary Ellen" as if the letters were numbers and it went through to call my dad. The second it went through I turned around and saw the our Minivan and the antenna box. I got in the car and my dad said "What are you doing here?" I told him "I don't know." and I woke up.

I've written two songs this month.

Falling (in love), and Lover/Love Her.
Mary helped with Lover/Love Her.

I want to write a book. But I don't know where I'd start.

My life is like a puzzle, I don't know how to put back the pieces.

Elles.
